- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
Toss the broccoli with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread it on one side of the sheet pan. Roast for 10 minutes.
While the broccoli roasts, toss the shrimp in the honey garlic mixture.5. Remove the sheet pan from the oven, add the shrimp to the other side, and drizzle any remaining sauce over the shrimp.
Return to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the broccoli is slightly crisp.
Serve hot with lemon wedges for added freshness.
