Ingredients
  

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb 450g of sirloin steak or any steak cut of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Steak:

  • Begin by cutting your steak into bite-sized cubes. Make sure to season them generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

Cook the Steak Bites:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the steak pieces in a single layer.
  • Let them cook without moving them around for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned and cooked to your preferred level of doneness.
  • Remove the steak bites from the pan and set them aside on a plate.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Let it melt and then add the minced garlic.
  • Cook the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • If you like, you can add a teaspoon of fresh thyme or rosemary at this point for extra flavor.

Combine and Serve:

  • Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Toss everything together to coat the steak bites in the buttery, garlicky goodness.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for an added touch of color and flavor.

Serve:

  • Serve your garlic butter steak bites immediately! They pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or a crisp salad.
