You can make it with fresh or frozen strawberries, add your favorite garnishes, and even switch things up with a non-alcoholic version. Ingredients
  

For the Daiquiri:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 ounces white rum or substitute with extra juice for a non-alcoholic version
  • 1 ounce lime juice about 1 fresh lime
  • 1 ounce simple syrup or honey for a natural option
  • 1 cup ice

For Garnishing:

  • Fresh strawberry slices
  • Lime wedges
  • Sugar for the rim optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Wash and hull the strawberries (if using fresh).
  • Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
  • If you want a sugared rim, rub a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip it into sugar.

Blend Everything Together

  • Add the strawberries, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy.

Adjust the Consistency

  • If it’s too thick, add a splash of water or fruit juice.
  • If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.

Serve Immediately

  • Pour the daiquiri into glasses.
  • Garnish with a strawberry slice or a lime wedge.
  • Enjoy while it’s cold and refreshing!
