- 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 ounces white rum or substitute with extra juice for a non-alcoholic version
- 1 ounce lime juice about 1 fresh lime
- 1 ounce simple syrup or honey for a natural option
- 1 cup ice
For Garnishing:
- Fresh strawberry slices
- Lime wedges
- Sugar for the rim optional
Prepare the Ingredients
Wash and hull the strawberries (if using fresh).
Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
If you want a sugared rim, rub a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip it into sugar.
Blend Everything Together
Add the strawberries, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy.
Adjust the Consistency
If it’s too thick, add a splash of water or fruit juice.
If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
