Ingredients
  

For the Hibiscus Tea Base

  • 4 cups water
  • ½ cup dried hibiscus flowers or 4 hibiscus tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup adjust to taste

For the Mango Blend

  • 1 large ripe mango peeled and diced
  • 1 cup water
  • Juice of 1 lime

To Serve

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves optional
  • Extra mango slices or lime wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Make the Hibiscus Tea

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and add ½ cup dried hibiscus flowers (or 4 hibiscus tea bags).
  • Let it steep for about 10-15 minutes until the water turns a deep red color.
  • Strain out the hibiscus flowers using a fine-mesh strainer.
  • While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste). Let it cool completely.

Step 2: Make the Mango Puree

  • Peel and dice 1 large mango and place it in a blender.
  • Add 1 cup of water and the juice of 1 lime.
  • Blend until smooth. If you prefer a thinner texture, add a little more water.

Step 3: Mix & Chill

  • Pour the cooled hibiscus tea into a large pitcher.
  • Add the mango puree and stir well to combine.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  • Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the hibiscus mango tea over the ice.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves, extra mango slices, or lime wedges for a fancy touch.
  • Stir and enjoy your refreshing homemade drink!
