Pecan pie martini

Pecan Pie Martini

This cocktail has quickly become a staple in my seasonal rotation. There’s something undeniably satisfying about the way the buttery pecan flavor blends with creamy liqueurs, offering a dessert-like drink that still feels elegant and sophisticated.

  • Martini glasses
  • Strainer
  • Small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl
  • Spoon or small whisk

Ingredients

For the Martini:

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz pecan liqueur such as Praline or Nocello
  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur
  • ½ oz caramel syrup
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Ice

For Garnish:

  • Toasted pecans 3–4 per glass
  • Caramel drizzle
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions

Chill Your Glasses

  • Place your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 10–15 minutes before making the cocktail.
  • Pro tip: A chilled glass keeps your martini cold longer without diluting it with extra ice.

Prepare Your Garnish

  • Lightly toast 3–4 pecans per glass in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Optional: drizzle a little caramel over the pecans for extra sweetness.
  • Set aside while you make the martini.

Mix the Martini Ingredients

  • Fill your cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add 2 oz vanilla vodka, 1 oz pecan liqueur, 1 oz Irish cream liqueur, ½ oz caramel syrup, and 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half.
  • Pro tip: Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds to fully blend the cream and liqueurs into a smooth, frothy mix.

Strain into Glasses

  • Remove your glasses from the freezer.
  • Using a strainer, pour the cocktail into each glass, keeping ice in the shaker.
  • Optional: sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg on top for an extra fall touch.

Garnish and Serve

  • Place 3–4 toasted pecans on top of each martini.
  • Drizzle a little caramel over the drink for a stunning presentation.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
