Lemon Vanilla Iced Tea
Iced tea is a classic, but adding lemon and vanilla takes it to a whole new level. The tartness of the lemon balances the sweetness of the vanilla, making it a drink that feels fancy but is actually super easy to make. Plus, it’s a great alternative to soda and store-bought drinks since you control the ingredients.

For the Tea
- 4 cups 1 liter of water
- 4 black tea bags or green tea if you prefer a lighter taste
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar adjust to taste
For the Lemon Flavor
- Juice of 2 lemons about 4 tablespoons
- 1 lemon sliced (for garnish)
For Serving
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves optional
Step 1: Brew the Tea
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil.
Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for 5-7 minutes (the longer they steep, the stronger the flavor).
Take out the tea bags and stir in the vanilla extract and honey or sugar while the tea is still warm. This helps dissolve the sweetener completely.
Step 2: Add the Lemon Flavor
Juice two lemons and pour the juice into the tea mixture.
Stir well to combine. If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the lemon juice before adding it.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for a beautiful and refreshing touch.
Stir, sip, and enjoy your homemade Lemon Vanilla Iced Tea!
