For the Homemade Mayonnaise:
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1 cup neutral oil like canola or grapeseed oil
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste

- A pinch of garlic powder

If using a food processor, start the motor and gradually pour in the oil through the feed tube.
