Ingredients
  

For the Jello Base:

  • 1 6 oz package flavored gelatin (orange, green, or red work great)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

For the Tequila Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup tequila blanco or reposado
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 –2 tbsp sugar optional, for extra sweetness

  • Candy eyes gummy worms, or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Gelatin

  • Pour 1 cup of boiling water into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the flavored gelatin and whisk continuously until completely dissolved. Pro Tip: Whisk slowly in circles to prevent lumps and make sure the color is smooth and even.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup cold water to slightly cool the mixture.

Step 2: Mix in the Tequila

  • In a separate small bowl, combine 1/2 cup tequila and 1/4 cup cold water.
  • Add 1–2 tablespoons sugar if you like it sweeter, and stir until dissolved.
  • Slowly pour the tequila mixture into the gelatin base, stirring gently until fully combined. Pro Tip: Pour gradually to prevent the gelatin from curdling or bubbling.

Step 3: Pour into Cups

  • Arrange your small cups or shot glasses on a tray or baking sheet.
  • Carefully pour the gelatin-tequila mixture into each cup, filling about 3/4 full.

Step 4: Chill and Set

  • Place the tray of cups in the refrigerator.
