Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Alfredo

  • 2 large chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 8 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta uncooked

Optional Garnishes

  • Extra Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • For the Side Salad Optional
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese shaved
  • 3 tablespoons Caesar dressing

For Garlic Bread (Optional)

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep the Chicken

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir lightly to coat the chicken with the seasonings.

Step 2: Slow Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

Step 3: Shred the Chicken

  • Remove the cooked chicken and shred it with two forks. Set it aside while you finish the sauce.

Step 4: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • Add the Parmesan cheese and cubed cream cheese to the crockpot and whisk until melted and smooth.

Step 5: Cook the Pasta

  • Break the fettuccine noodles in half and stir them into the sauce. Add the shredded chicken back in. Cover and cook on high for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Once the pasta is cooked, give everything a final stir. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley. Enjoy with a side salad and garlic bread!
