  • 4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme

Step 1: Prep the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This is super important for getting crispy skin, so don’t skip it!

Step 2: Season the Chicken

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken thighs, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, and thyme. Toss everything together until the chicken is well coated. Using your hands or tongs helps ensure every piece gets evenly seasoned.

Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 3-5 minutes. Preheating helps the chicken start crisping up right away.
